The founder

Amélie Henry

Hey! I'm Amélie, the founder of TravelMe. You might have seen me on the reality TV show Occupation Double in the West.

I started dreaming about this company when I was 19, while I was still in CEGEP (pre-university college). I wanted to launch it, but I had no experience in the field and I didn't know how to handle online sales! However, I did test many self-tanning formulas to find the best one. I had plenty of time to test them, haha.

After my business administration studies at HEC and my time on Occupation Double, I had the resources and skills, but not yet the confidence to take the plunge… I was at a point in my life where I needed to slow down and take care of myself to rediscover the little joys of everyday life: a good cup of coffee, a cozy evening at home, a pause to be mindful of what makes me feel good. I went on a retreat in Peru, I sought therapy, I forgave, I decluttered my social circle, and above all, I made myself a priority. Reconnecting with myself was the best decision.

Wellness routines have become an important aspect of my daily life.

That's why my company revolves around wellness routines and personal development.
